What happens when fashion, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing collide? A bold new vision emerges.
For Paris Fashion Week, POOLP collaborated with the Institut Français de la Mode and the talented student Paco Fausset Leroy-Thomas to bring an avant-garde piece to life—one that challenges traditional notions of masculinity through form, materiality, and technology.
Unveiled on June 18th, this sculptural creation is a caricature of masculinity, crafted from 100% recycled PETG sourced from pharmaceutical packaging. Through Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM), this piece not only embodies conceptual depth but also demonstrates a commitment to circularity, reducing CO₂eq emissions by 50% compared to virgin materials.
This collaboration is a testament to how 3D printing is reshaping fashion, opening doors to a future where materials are repurposed, waste is eliminated, and creativity knows no bounds.
