In the heart of Paris 2024, along the Canal Saint-Denis, a new kind of victory is being celebrated—not just in sports, but in street art, sustainability, and innovation.
PLAYGROUND is an artistic journey where urban creativity meets environmental responsibility. Created in collaboration with artist Mathieu Lorry-Dupuy, this project is part of Les Victoires, an eco-friendly street art trail inaugurated by Plaine Commune.
At POOLP, we took on the challenge of crafting 13 bold, dynamic statues, each one 3D printed in recycled PETG, sourced from medical tray waste. With the power of large-format additive manufacturing (LFAM), we transformed discarded materials into street art sculptures that celebrate movement, play, and the Olympic spirit.
This project is more than a tribute to Paris 2024—it’s a statement. A statement that street art can be circular, that urban installations can reduce waste, and that technology can reshape the way we experience public spaces.
And like any great game, the story doesn’t end when the match is over. At the end of their life cycle, these statues will be recovered, reprocessed, and reborn into future creations, closing the loop on waste.
